Potato Vending Machine!

Still haven't posted the pictures from Salzburg, but I couldn't wait to post this picture of a potato vending machine that we passed on our evening bike ride yesterday. Notice that different potatoes have different prices and that it's empty. We saw a disappointed customer stopping to check. Only in Germany.

Sold out!

Other sights we passed on our bike ride: a pretty church, a lock at sunset, another pretty door. The beams that make up the peak of the roof end in horse heads, typical of Lower Saxony.

Another pretty door
So pleasant to go for a long bike ride along the river after dinner with the long summer evening. The only problem was mosquitoes when we stopped to look at the map. Summer.
